Creative Director, Stephens College

Have a passion (and knack) for the written word? Love coordinating ideas & action plans, and bringing people together? Crave the thrill of a job well done? So do we. The Office of Marketing & Public Relations seeks a full-time supervising Creative Director to lead, inspire, collaborate, transform. Work (hard) in a casual, supportive environment while reinforcing Stephens’ brand in print, web, video, ads, at events, and in traditional & social media. Strategize and write student recruitment campaigns; rally alumnae around Stephens on Facebook; connect with like-minded entities; converse with the media; tell our story in words, text and images; and help imagine (and implement) new possibilities.  

 

You will need a bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field, or professional equivalent, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe CS4. You must be familiar with video and web editing; be adept at writing, working with designers and managing project workflow; be able to build solid relationships across multiple constituencies; possess superior communication, organization, problem-solving and creative talents; and handle multiple projects on deadline with a smile.

University of Missouri System seeks manager of constituent communications (Columbia, Mo.)

The University of Missouri System, which supports the university’s four campuses in Columbia, Kansas City, St. Louis and Rolla, is seeking a manager of constituent communications.  Candidates should have solid writing skills with experience in internal and external communications roles, including speechwriting, development of PowerPoint presentations and marketing communications. 

 

Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing or other applicable degree, plus a minimum of five years experience in public relations that includes work in executive communications. Ability to understand and effectively communicate complicated topics, including economic development, tech transfer, financial/budget information, scientific research and employee benefits, is a must.

Art Director, Stephens College

Love typography? Clean lines? Do you think in images? Doodle a lot? So do we. The Office of Marketing & Public Relations seeks a full-time Art Director with a passion for inspiring design. Work (hard) in a casual, creative environment where your canvas is as varied as our academic programs (equestrian, fashion, the arts…). Help set our brand identity across multimedia platforms. Collaborate on concept, and set the design of website material, publications and advertising for varied audiences. Tell our story visually so that college-seeking women flock to Stephens, adult students find their niche, and alumnae and friends fund student dreams.

You will need a bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field, or professional equivalent, and full Adobe CS4 proficiency in a Mac environment. You must possess exceptional website design skills and familiarity with XHTML and CSS; strong knowledge of the printing process and experience working with vendors; excellent communication, organization, problem-solving and creative talents; and the ability to handle multiple projects on deadline with a smile.
